By my tally, that is 78 lifers, jumping my life total to 387. Sucks to be home, but with staples in the brain, sprained wrist, and 2 busted ribs.... it feels great to relax.
-Brian-
Brian! I hope you are ok beyond the tally of injuries listed above! Sounds like you had quite an ordeal. Definitely not the way you want to end a trip, especially early. Having totalled a car on vacation before myself I know how extra difficult everything can be. Heal quickly! -Lynn
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynn. My injuries are healing well. But to be honest, I'll take them again for what I was able to experience, driving 3 weeks across America. 300+ species, 78 lifers, wild buffalo, wild horses, pronghorns everywhere, jack rabbits (not my best friend right now), ground squirrels, prarie dogs, coyotes, foxes..... still an amazing experience.
ReplyDeleteAnd my insurance covered a new pick-up for me. So... I'll take a few broken ribs and wrist/hand and 5 skull staples!
I appreciate your concern, thank you.
